Haiku - Rejoice in Silence

As you walk in silence
through these mountains
can you hear your soul rejoice ?

    You always follow this structure?

  3. @Bhagwad - This is a slightly modified format used for english - the idea is to use 17 syllables in total,irrespective of how many syllables each line has.For writing in japanese I follow the traditional 5-7-5 format.

  7. Oh such a simple yet so very lovely Haiku. You are so right. I can actually feel my heart jumping with joy when my eyes see such beautiful sights..:D
